Memorial Day 2008 started with a flag and a dream.
The dream was to plant American flags in front
of all the homes in the HGCA area.

In the end there were many flags.

Flags were obtained and donated by Assemblyman Rob Walker and members of the HGCA
worked diligently to put the flags and message cards together.

Memorial Day weekend arrived and the flag planting started ... again with one.
|
In the end there were many flags planted and many streets lined with "Old Glory".
|
Finally, members of the HGCA proudly marched in the Memorial Day parade.
