board members voted down a proposal for Costco to
open a store in Hicksville on 555 W. John Street.

Bagga Property
On December 20, 2011 the NYS Supreme Court
rendered a decision in favor of Darshan Bagga
and allows for the development of the property
located at 594 So. Broadway (at Gerald Avenue
- formerly TJ Courtney's Restaurant) to include
apartments over stores at the location.

The HGCA has been opposed to a motel and/or
appartments at the location and has had the
Town's support however the NYS Supreme
Court has ruled against our stand.

Discussions will be held within the Block &
Board to determine if any further action can
be taken.  Any interested persons are asked to
