The buildings have been demolished and the HGCA, at the behest of local residents, is monitoring its development for proper asbestos and other contaminant
abatement.

The community was quite taken back as the steel was being erected and came to find out that this structure will be nearly 50’ feet tall.  The property was
obviously zoned for such a development and therefore the community did not require notification.  We recently met with Jack Libert and the Attorneys
representing Sleepy’s.  We have been promised that no right turns will be permitted by any vehicle exiting the site onto Mulberry St..  All vehicles will be
directed south via Washington or Jerry to Hazel where they wil have the option of turing either left or right.  We wish to que this commercial traffic north or
south on NYS Route 107 or north onto South Oyster Bay Road.

Another issue that was discussed was the sound barrier on the perimeter of New South Road.  The developer has proposed additional landscaping and is
reviewing the possibility of an underground sprinkler system to ensure the community can retain some of its residential character.

We have been assured by the Town that CO’s will not be signed off unless everything is in order.
This property is located near the Grumman site east of New South Road and
west of South Oyster Bay Road (Section 46, Block 504, Lot(s) 130-133).
