On Tuesday, May 25, 2010 members of the HGCA met at Cablevision's corporate office with representatives of both Cablevision and Senator Charles Schumer's
office to discuss the noise pollution from low flying helicopters.
It was agreed that both parties would work toward a better understanding of the flight path the helicopters are using, including a field "demonstration flight" with
monitors on the ground conducting visual tests as the helicopter proceeds through its route. Cablevision will remind its pilots to proceed, whenever possible,
using the designated route and the parties will meet again at the end of the summer to review observations.
